Content Removal Policy

Who can request removal

Anyone who is the subject of a listing, or who represents them. You do not need to give a reason, but we do need a link to the original profile so we can confirm the listing is actually yours.

What removal does

• The listing is removed from search, browse, the map and all recommendations.
• The handle is added to a permanent blocklist, so a later crawl cannot add the profile back. This is why we retain the handle after removal: discarding it entirely would allow the listing to silently reappear.
• Pages already removed carry a noarchive directive, so cached copies in search engines expire rather than outliving the removal.

How long it takes

We aim to action removal requests within 72 hours. Requests that involve images shared without the subject's consent, or that indicate a risk to someone's safety, are prioritised ahead of the queue. Say so in the message and it will be treated accordingly.
